Snowy began his singing career in Newcastle in the late 1960’s playing solo and with various bands, performing the popular hits of the day. His love of country music has seen him win many prestigious awards including:

▫ The Rising Star Quest Best Male Vocalist.
▫ Steel City Country Music Association Best Male Vocalist (First Life Member).
▫ 4 Golden Guitar Nominations from Tamworth for Best Male Vocalist.
▫ MO Award Winner Best Solo Act 2014.
▫ Plus, several more Mo nominations including Best Male Vocalist and Best Country Act achieving top six nominations alongside acts like Chad Morgan and Troy Cassar-Daley.

Snowy has travelled many times overseas entertaining appreciative audiences at The Calgary Stamped, Disneyland, The Spruce Goose, Queen Mary Complex and World Fest 2000 at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri.

In 1989-1990 he starred in and wrote Country Connection on Sky Channel alongside Donnie Sutherland and Keith Blinman. His acting credits include:

Television: Sons and Daughters, A Country Practice, The Two Ronnies Down Under and Deadly Women for The US.
Movies: Bourke and Wills, Beyond Thunderdome, Act of Betrayal, Tracy … and the list goes on.

Over the years he has supported such great acts as Chubby Checker, The Drifters, Herman’s Hermits, The Platters and Charlie Pride; and in Canada he supported Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings at the Calgary Stampede.

With his wealth of experience in many forms of music, audiences can expect a touch of Country, Comedy, Sing-Along, Rock ’n’ Roll, Australiana Favourites and much more as Snowy presents songs from the 50’s onwards.

His Gentle On My Mind Showcase raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s Australia encompassing Gone But Not Forgotten is a popular crowd pleaser, as well as his Aussie Bush Christmas Show.
